Our Story

Welcome to Dolan Creek Farm…

Purchased in 1969 by my grandparents, Allan and Alison McCurrach, Dolan Creek Farm has been home for four generations of our family, as well as numerous pets from dogs to cats to a horse named Jake. It has been a home like no other, where the sound of the creek rushing in the spring is the last thing you hear before you fall asleep and the calls of chickadees darting about the white birch trees greet you when you start the day. 

Throughout the years, our family has worked with local farmers, providing our farmland for agricultural uses such as pasturing animals and harvesting hay. Our land is currently being leased by a local organic dairy farm and is home to a herd of Holstein cattle during the spring and summer.

We have been helping others host incredible weddings at our farm since 2018. One comment that we have received from our clients and their guests is how warm, welcoming, and comfortable the farm is and how it feels like coming home. We can’t think of a better compliment and that is what we hope for everyone who chooses us for their celebration.

From cross country skiing around the hayfield in the winter to trekking across the pasture to the river for a swim in the summer, the happy memories our family have created here are many.  We welcome you to consider Dolan Creek Farm as the place to create your own.
